I was sitting here trying to figure out how I could words to something so beautiful that words could really only limit it.  So instead of using my own – I decided to borrow some of the comments below the 3 videos featured here.  Looking forward to reading yours…

“Beautiful. Multiple shivers down my spine.”

” I get butterflies, if you look closely you can actully see depth in the stars, and you can tell which ones are farther away and which ones are closer. Wow, just wow. I just can not describe how beautiful this video is. I wish the world had skies untouched by electrical light when the sun goes down, I feel so bad for the people in cities. They never get to see these skies unless they travel far away from all the light pollution. I could talk about the amazingness of this video forever!!!!”

“the world’s most beautiful sky show :)

“So, this is genuine footage?  I’m sorry, but this looks too awesome to really be the world we live in!”

(to watch on youtube: All Alone in the Night – Time-lapse footage of the Earth as seen from the ISS)

(to watch on youtube: Time Lapse Auroras Over Norway)

source by NASA (Astronomy Picture of the Day Archive)
Music: Now we are free

(to watch on youtube: temporal distortion)

What you see is real, but you can’t see it this way with the naked eye. It is the result of 20-30 second exposures, edited together over many hours to produce the timelapse. This allows you to see the Milky Way, Aurora and other Phenonmena, in a way you wouldn’t normally see them.

Featuring an original score “Temporal Distortion” by Bear McCreary (Battlestar Galactica, The Walking Dead, Eureka, etc) http://www.bearmccreary.com

I felt a bit seasick watching that (in a good way). It felt like being on a strange planet adrift in space. Thanks.

Those time lapse videos were awesome! I had never seen a time lapse video where the actual camera was moving. Temporal Distortion was a fantastic compilation of video!
