    Very nice quotes, however, Ghandi was not the Ben Kingsley propaganda Ghandi. This is the person who wanted Jewish people to accept their fate and not fight the Nazis and who had young women give him an enema everyday.

    But he DID believe in non-violence- whatever faults the fleshly man had his spirit mind wasn’t one of them- and his legacy- his sayings and beliefs live on

    I checked out your links, and the links on those pages… all in all, quite a controversial man, it would appear. Thanks for the insights; it’s good to remember, there’s always more than one side to a story, and history is usually written by the winners of an issue or battle.

    Nonetheless, regarding the quotes above:
    A truth is, and remains, a truth, regardless of whether it’s told by Isaac Asimov (whom I had the displeasure of knowing personally for the arrogant, inconsiderate egotist that he was) or the village idiot.

    Where there is much light, there is also much shadow; if you are looking for a hero and someone to look up to, just try the mirror!
