I don’t know about you – but these last few days I have been feeling – well – off. When a friend in the know suggested that it may be related to the upcoming Solar Eclipse I couldn’t resist – I had to learn more …

The longest Total Solar Eclipse of this century will take place on July 21-22, 2009. It will be visible from the Pacific Ocean, Southern China, Southeast Asia, Northern India and Nepal, and its actual length will be six minutes and 39 seconds.
This total solar eclipse (like all solar eclipses) is a New Moon eclipse, which means that like all new moons, it represents a time of initiation and new beginnings. However, the fact that it’s a solar eclipse, and the longest one in this century to boot, supercharges its energy, which is why its effects will be felt for approximately three years.

Solar eclipses eliminate old ideas and ways of doing things. They also repeat every 19 years. So you might like to remember what was going on in 1990 and see how you responded to the situation you encountered. How did you change then? If you went with something new, now you have another opportunity to take that ability or realization to the next level of achievement. If you didn’t change, you will probably find yourself in a similar situation with your back to the wall. This isn’t about blame, but rather life processes. Evolution is necessary for life!

With such things, often the best approach is to be aware of it & then be open to it. The eclipse is happening & the energy it creates is going to be available. Might as well ride or surf the energy & place your own intentions on it and let it take you in the direction that feels right.

Everything feels expanded for the last two weeks, and everything feels as if it is somewhat less solid. This can feel spacey at times, and mildly giddy. It can also feel vacant, as if something is missing. And it is– because the eclipse has released many old stale patterns that are no longer needed for your highest good.
At times the old patterns seem to surface, and just sit there in your aura. This can feel heavy or confusing. And this feeling may alternate with the previously mentioned feeling of giddiness. This surfacing of patterns gives you a chance to look at them, and consider them. When you choose to let them go, actually lift the old patterns out of your aura, and feel that they are dissolving in the universe.
Then you can re-configure your reality by decisively choosing your preferred reality. It will not manifest immediately, but do install your preferred reality in your present and future, so that you and the universe are in alignment. The universe is offering you a chance to choose, but the universe can not force you to do so. It is your choice.
Enjoy the eclipses, and let them liberate and empower you.
I felt unusually weak just prior to the eclipse. I was so tired I could not get out of bed to watch it. I was wondering was I the only one.
I am sorry to say I hardly registered the eclipse consciously but my whole being has been heavy and confused for the last couple of days just as Joel describes. If it really was the influence of the eclipse then I am gobsmacked! Doesn’t the strength of it’s influence depend on where you are geographically? Thanks for the info and links.
I have had a major, MAJOR Breakthrough this week! I finally realize why I have never felt truly worthy of having my dream life. It was an eye opener for both myself and my big sister. I now feel worthy in my core. My energy field feels clean, refreshed and ready to move forward and release all of the negative energy that has been pent up within me. I am open to receiving the life of my dreams.
There are some many things that are happening because of the eclipse
first of all our collective thinking has brought this into being
frequencies are being raised and the evolution of man is inevitable
we have no choice now but to grow .We our experencing gods mind like never before it was just his plan in motion and will continue to spiral upward in a way that all thoughts dreams and ambitions will be fullfilled in such a way it will sever the cords of unbelief in definately very exciting time for us all send out love and get love back remember thoughts travel at the speed of light

I highly recommend checking out Lunar Eclipse info for july 09 from Barbara Hand Clow, a well know astrologer. Just google her name and you’ll come across her website. Her information and insights are quite amazing. She’s also written a very well received book on the Myan Calander.
The information I found on the eclipse beforehand talked about forced change for spiritual growth. It wasn’t kidding. I was really depressed and frustrated for the few days surrounding the eclipse. I have been trying to get something going for several months to make money online and kept running into snags or just getting distracted. 2 days after the eclipse, my car got repossessed. That really sent me into action. I have my website mostly up, including a blog, and have been posting on Twitter and Facebook. I have several opportunities to offer and have visited Clickbank. I am determined to get some money coming in very soon so I am not walking for long. Not that walking is bad, but 6 miles is a long walk. It did give me time to smell the flowers, think and I had an extra boost of energy today.
So yes, the eclipse did affect moods and emotions, but it is up to the individual how to use the energy from it.
I know it is rather late to post a commnet about something that happened 2 months back. But this came into my notice only now.
Going back 19 years, I remember the drastic change in our lives. I changed my job, which took me out of my own country, with a substantial increase in my salary. In the process, I was also forced to stay away from my family for long periods at a stretch.
I am noticing changes happening in many of my present circustances, which point towards a drastic change signal drastic changes in the making. The 19-year circle theory explains what is going on!
