Robyn Lindsey – Inspirational Nature Photography

Robyn Lindsey

Inspirational Nature Photography- My name is Robyn Lindsey and I have considered myself a photographer since 2009.  I shared a love for photography with my Dad who passed away in February of 2010.  Living in the Pacific Northwest, there is so much beauty around me.  Dad taught me to see the beauty in the ordinary, in the day to day, and to share it with others.  Sometimes looking at a beautiful photo has the same relaxing effect that yoga or meditation may have.  I am also a certified life coach and an author.  My website and blog can be seen at www.robynlindsey.com.

Wise Tree

Wise Tree

This is the first photo that I took as a professional.  Meaning after I took this photo, my Dad talked me into selling my photos and I have never looked back!  It was taken at Crystal Spring Rhododendron Garden in Portland, Oregon.

Falls

Falls

I took this photo at Multnomah Falls.  To me, it is the epitome of being an Oregonian, rain doesn’t stop us if we want to see the sites.  This is definitely in my top 10 favorite photos.

Vintage Daisies

Vintage Daisies

Shasta daisies are my favorite flower.  I processed this photo to make it black and white and add a border.  I could imagine this photo in a little girls room, a powder room, or in a grouping on a hallway wall.

Journey

Journey

I am enamored with the journey.  I love paths, steps, and windy roads.  I love thinking that millions have been on the same exact roads before me, yet each of our journeys are unique.

Mountain Stream

Mountain Stream

I took this photo near Multnomah Falls.  I love how the path of the water can be traced all the way down the photo.  How regardless of obstacles, water gets where it is meant to go.  I love the lessons we can learn from this one photo.

Yellow Rose

Yellow Rose

I took this photo at Portland’s Rose Garden.  I grew up in Texas and of course learned “The Yellow Rose of Texas” in elementary school.  I love how this rose seems to be blushing, and how it is wet with dew.

The Blue tree

The Blue Tree

I took this photo in Utah while visiting my Dad.  I love the blue of the sky and how the tree has steam rising off of it.  I love this moment in time!

Stairs to Heaven

Stairs to Heaven

This is another photo from Crystal Springs Rhododendron Garden in Portland, Oregon.  It reflects my fascination with the journey.

If I’m having a particularly challenging day, I find that all my cares and worries are drowned out by the beauty of nature. Just being in it is so soothing to my soul. Thanks for bringing the outdoors in by your beautiful photography. I love how you’ve incorporated a reflective passage with it. Thanks for spreading positivity and beauty. Robyn,
I too, am a photographer. Your photos speak. In Journey I hear the leaves rustling as they are gently caressed by the wind. The Mountain Stream tells where it has been as it interacts with the rocks. And I feel the mist on my face from the Falls. I believe you feel the scene as you snap the photo. Good work
