A pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity; an optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty. ~ Winston Churchill
A lot has been written about the cosmic changes, global changes, eco-system changes, political-economic changes, spiritual changes, and energy-field, frequency changes.
Whew – how are we to survive the Shift? How are we to leave the survival mindset and move into the thrival mindset? What is a planet to do?
It appears that we need to change our minds. To change from the misinterpreted concept of ‘survival of the fittest’, which was embraced for decades by many cultures and governments, and begin to live fully from the heart-based and historically and biologically evidenced mindsets of community and cooperation.
Dr. Bruce Lipton, Epigenetic biologist and author of The Biology of Belief and Spontaneous Evolution says –
Beneath our skin is a bustling metropolis of 50 trillion cells, each of which is biologically and functionally equivalent to a miniature human…because cells and humans find themselves in similar biological circumstances, it naturally raises the question, ‘how can 50 trillion cells live in harmony and peace while a mere 7 billion people are on the verge of annihilating each other?’
Dr. Lipton compares our very nature and existence to the nature and existence of the massive community of cells that make up each living thing. He tells us that success at the cellular level is measured by how well each cell group cooperates and that success within a living body, is also measured by how well each organ fulfills its particular job of cooperating with other organs and systems.
A community of human beings represents an organization of individuals who must cooperate, not just for survival, but for growth, expansion and thrival. Our cells act as a model community to teach us how to live in peace, harmony and cooperation.
When the cells do not accomplish that harmony, then the organism sickens and may die. When human beings do not accomplish that harmony, then their communities may sicken and die. Our success as a species on the planet is dependent on our emotional intelligence as much as on our mental intelligence.
Look at our great model of pure intellectual intelligence on the TV show The Big Bang. Sheldon has an amazing brain, but it will be his continued ‘socialization’ into compassion and caring for the well-being and peace of others that will establish his humanity.
Dr. Lipton goes on to say that, Community represents an organization of individuals who share common interests, attitudes or goals. He reminds us that, cellular politics is characterized by unity combined with diversity through which each of the body’s 200 different cell types perform diverse functions for the benefit of the collective whole…and politics is how we organize, relate and act together to promote the health of the whole of humanity and every individual in it.
Our goals today need to include commitment to our very existence and our focus needs to be on sustainability of our planet, ourselves, our children, our culture and our humanity. We have a vast population of brilliant minds, watching the developments in science, medicine, philosophy, and culture on shows like Through the Wormhole and reading books like Deep Truth by Gregg Braden, Evolve Your Brain by Dr. Joe Dispenza, The Genie in Your Genes by Dr. Dawson Church and The One Command by Asara Lovejoy, we have the opportunity to expand our minds, our hearts and our sensibilities and be an influence for good in all we do.
And so according to Dr. Lipton, in Spontaneous Evolution – the real challenge for the individual is to practice evolution, to learn the lessons of the old stories so we no longer need to repeat them, and to remind ourselves that the critical mass of humanity involved with this evolution will change the world from the inside out. We are living in a positive future, practicing Heaven, and designing a bridge across which the whole of humanity will walk.
Barbara Marx Hubbard, Gregg Braden, Dr. Bruce Lipton, Howard Martin, Lynne McTaggart, and many others are committed to the Birth 2012 movement started by the amazing Futurist, Barbara Marx Hubbard – now being called Bold Mother Hubbard!
The goal of Birth 2012 on December 22, 2012 is to unite 100 million people around the world to celebrate the birth of a new era for humanity, and to bring in with great fanfare, love and joy, this historic day of global unity. There will be song, prayer, One Commands, meditation, dance, poetry and cultural expressions of all kinds. This is a day for random acts of kindness, acts of generosity and a deep commitment to global cooperation. December 22, 2012 is a collective rite of passage, a birthday that marks the entry into a brand new era of spontaneous evolution in the creation of a world with the capacity to support a healthy, sustainable, peaceful and prosperous ecological and economic and spiritual home for us all.
And so in the words of Dr. Lipton, the real challenge for the individual is to practice evolution, to learn the lessons of the old stories so we no longer need to repeat them, and to remind ourselves that the critical mass of humanity involved with this evolution will change the world from the inside out. We are living in a positive future, practicing Heaven, and designing a bridge across which the whole of humanity will walk.
And in the words of Spock, Live Long and Prosper.
