How to Attract Money Using Mind Power… Part 13 of 20: Organization By James Goi Jr.

Regardless of how it came to be for each person, people tend to be either predominantly organized or predominantly disorganized. When it comes to attracting money with mind power, this distinction can make all the difference.

“Organization” is the title of chapter 13 in my book, How to Attract Money Using Mind Power. Here’s the quote I use to open that chapter:

“If you wish to be rich, you must be orderly. All men with great wealth are orderly—and order is Heaven’s first law.”
–Florence Scovel Shinn, The Game of Life and How to Play It, 1925

Organization is important in regards to attracting money. One reason is that attracting money is largely about mind power and mind power is largely about organization. To effectively and deliberately use mind power to attract money, we must organize our thoughts in specific ways.

In order to best be able to organize our thoughts in ways supportive of our efforts to attract money, we must organize our environments and our affairs in line with the inward order we seek.

Organizing has a lot to do with harmony. We are seeking to harmonize our thoughts, feelings, actions and environments in ways which will allow us to govern the flow of universal energy as it affects the flow of money. We are seeking to harmonize our inner and outer conditions so that we may create the financial circumstances we have determined we want.

Concerning outer environment specifically, you know that your thoughts affect your environment and your environment affects your thoughts. Knowing this, you should be able to understand how important it is for you to maintain order in your outer environment.

Maintaining order requires you to be efficient and focused, and it helps you to be efficient and focused. As a rule, the more orderly you are—within reason—the more productive you’ll be able to be. There is vast power in focus, and focus is order and organization in action.

One great way to organize your life is to simplify it. This is largely a process of prioritization. You determine what is important and what is not; what will move you closer to the realization of your financial goals and what will lessen your ability to move closer to the realization of your financial goals.

In the areas of simplification and prioritization, less is often more. Simplifying and prioritizing are really about just getting to the point and letting the rest go—at least in the short term. The more stuff we can get out of the way and the less stuff we have to deal with, the better.

So much of the organizing process is just plain common sense. In your home, go through your stuff. That means your clothes and furnishings and tools and paperwork and you name it. Get rid of what you don’t use or want or need. Organize what’s left.

It’s just as important to organize your activities. This can be done by managing your time better. You can be more selective about what commitments you make. You can be more selective about how you spend your time.

If you don’t already do so, consider using daily, weekly, monthly and even yearly to-do lists. Your to-do lists will help immensely, but in order to consistently get the items on your to-do lists done, you’ll need to schedule many of them.

Think of your schedule as a guide and not a master. In the end, you control how you spend your time, and scheduling your activities is an effective way to do that.

Another effective tool to help you organize your activities is a top-tasks list. Each night you would list the top six tasks you’d like to do the next day. You’d put the tasks in a logical order according to how important, hard to do or time sensitive they are. The next day you’d work on the tasks in order, and if you don’t get to them all, you add the unfinished items to the next day’s list.

It will help you to schedule some time on a regular basis, say weekly for instance, to keep up on personal and financial matters. This would be a time to pay bills and maintain financial accounts. You could attend to correspondence and phone calls. You could even have a time for this sort of thing each day, and the weekly session could be to get to the items still outstanding.

Likewise, you can schedule time to keep up on organization and cleanliness of your home, vehicles and so on. Continue to prioritize, reassess, get rid of…

This series of articles is about attracting money with mind power. Each article is like another piece of the money-attracting puzzle. What you should understand is that unless you use all of the pieces of the puzzle, your picture will be incomplete and you will get limited and inconsistent results.

Organization, though not a glamorous or widely-recognized mind-power technique, is a crucial aspect of the money-attracting process.

Disorganization is disempowerment. Organization and focus feed and need each other, and focus is a key element in the process of gathering up and directing mind power.

So many students of metaphysics get consistently unsatisfactory results from their mind-power efforts specifically because they fail to get organized in mind, environment and activity.

The cause may be laziness or ignorance or something else. Regardless of the cause, the results are the same: ineffectuality in manifesting desired financial and general circumstances.

Don’t let this be you. If you didn’t know before, you know now how important organization is in the process of attracting money. You want more money? Get more organized.

Here’s another quote I use in my chapter on organization:

“Disorderly persons are rarely rich, and orderly persons are rarely poor.”
–Samuel Smiles, Thrift, 1885

Again, get more organized. Organize things within you and outside of you to ground you more firmly in the process of consistently attracting all of the money you want and need.

Fantastic James!!! – well put! Organization is so critical. It is a multi-layered subject as is the solution for chronic clutter habits… but the results are the same – disempowerment & finally depression. I’ve been studying clutter & organizing for over 20 years now and we’ve only hit the tip of the iceberg. Clutter holds so many people back from money, goals & dreams, socializing, good health, etc. I think you’ve made some really good points here. Thank you for making the connection for folks.

Hi James, Its a great lesson ! Thanks a lot.

I liked this chapter (Organization) very much. Most of us can not achieve our goals for lack of our organazation (both internaly and externaly. We try to engage ourselves with a lot of things, which are not really necessary for us.

When we have enough money to spare, we become dis-organized and also become very careless with our money. Again, when we are in need of money, we also become dis-organized and get worried for money. All these time (both Good or not too good) we are not constant and organized in our effort & focus to the Money.

We hope to know some more ways from you on how to keep our FOCUS constantly to MONEY.

    Thanks once again.

Hi James, it’s easy for me to get used to the way I do things and the degree of organisation I think is OK. Your article reminds me that we can always be better at things and organisation is definitely something I could be better at :) Since I’ve been trying not to accumulate more stuff I am finding it easier to focus on getting rid of things I don’t need anymore and now I’m getting a bit more consistent at it. Thanks.
