I love all what has to do with communication and this issue about trying is very interesting as I´ve for habit to just never count with the TRY people...and Sweden must be the number ONE NATION with al the great try practitioners...when ever I get that answer...some how I it feels as that was just that magic word my brain was waiting for to solve the problem....so the best I know as an inventor is to call all those friends who never ever will move a finger for me....they are my eternal inspiration...all it takes is phone call and ask for a favor...

all is a matter of reverse Psychology

Thank you very much for this video. I have spent a lot of money in the past to attend seminars promising new stuff and it usually ends up being same old thing wrapped in new tech names. I have just learned more from this short video than I have attending some 2 day seminars. I am very much looking forward to your other videos that you mentioned in this video. Can those be found on You Tube ?

Hi. Thank you for video. It is wonderful. It gives it a personal touch and for me it works because it has visual effect.

Sorry love, I don't agree. Words are what they are and I believe it is people who don't wish to hurt the feelings of another who misuse the word "try". For instance, someone asks you to do something but you know you will not have the time, many people will say "I'll try." rather than "I'm sorry, I don't have time right now." This is why the task does not get done. The word "try" is not the causative factor. When I tell someone I will try, I always let them know up front why I may not be able to help them out and give them a time frame, or an honest assessment of my abilities. Also, sometimes, one can give their best effort to accomplish something (try) and fail miserably through no fault of their own. Remember, you are not the only person involved in many cases. The word try means to attempt, to give effort to something and to accept success OR failure based on that effort. Perhaps we should keep that in mind and stop worrying about what other people want or expect.

I wish so much that I had known about nlp and the 'try issue' before my companies went down the tubes, not after. Why did it all fail? Because I was TRYING to focus on mostly the wrong things. The times I asked employees to watch safety issues and work standards when I got "yeh OK I'll try" and then nothing happened. Now I am a professional personal performance trainer and coach. So often I hear "I'll try." Just watch the facial expressions and body language of someone as they say "I'll try." What they are actually saying is "not a chance mate." I have done a great deal of work on healing, spontaneous healing and telepathy or as it is now also know, subjective communication and developed my natural gift in this field. With the subjective communication skill I can actually hear the real thoughts of the person while promising on their death bed to try. That is where the coaching is so useful in getting the coachee or client to restructure the objective intent from 'I'll try'to 'I'm on it now' as they walk out the door.' To cut to an important associated issue of the 'I'll try' syndrome, 15 years research of spontaneous healing showed that those people who somehow triggered their own body's innate healing system to start working again had similar thought processes. When doctors had said "sorry there is nothing left for us to try", mentally the patient said to themselves "no way, if you cannot fix me then I will." Those that died where the ones who gave up or tried everything under the sun but never believed in themselves or the likelihood of success. One conclusion was that those that kick start their innate healing system took back their self responsibility. Those caught in the I'll try syndrome were always looking for someone or something to take responsibility for them and their cancer condition. When I see people saying "I'll try", my feeling is that they are actually trying to dodge the issue rather than take the responsibility for it.

Hi Jeffrey, when I was training in hypnosis and NLP, our instructor made us put a quarter in a jar every time we unconsciously said the word try. It worked great.
