Very interesting... it is interesting to observe how often people speak in the reverse of what they desire, e.g. asking"How are you?" and having "Not so bad" as the response or seeing someone carrying a glass down stairs and saying,"don't drop that" or "don't fall", etc. Also interesting is what the effect of the use of a word like 'but' has in a conversation. Tv shows where people go to discuss issues and one may say,"I love you honey but...." Do they really love or is what critism they next utter the truth? Should, try, can't, is are all interesting when one thinks about their use and what is meant. What do others think? Thank you Jules for your thought provoking writing. Have a great day everyone.
