Horse Petting, A Breakthrough About Clarity of Intention

(to watch larger screen click on title)
One cannot try to convince a horse to do what they want it to do. The horse can not be manipulated. However, horses respond very well to clarity. Horses don’t speak but they do read energy. This is a powerful conversation between renowned filmmaker Barnet Bain and life coach/author Freeman Michaels about being clear in our intention – not only with horses, but in every area of our lives.

Cutting Edge Consciousness is a radio show which airs on KKZZ (AM 1400) in Southern California. The show is about “thought provoking discussions and bold ideas from the edge of possibility.”

Having spent my entire childhood and a good part of my adult life dealing with horses….. all kinds of horses, this video resonates loud and clear.
Horses (and all other domestic animals and even some UNdomesticated ones) DO respond to clear intention… and if they respond to tentative manipulative behavior it is NOT a good response.

The horse appreciates stroking, but never combine affectionate attention with business… (such as shoeing the horse or drenching the horse [giving medicine].)

Business and business and love is all superflous… so to speak.

Always act with surety and clear intent… and honesty when working with animals.

However, I do have to say that MOST humans do NOT appreciate that approach, they are so accustomed to being soft-pedaled/manipulated with soft deceptive phrases, that they are offended by honest direct people.

Brilliant! I keep coming across horse references as a source of profound learning…I think I might have to find a way of experiencing this!

I shall also take a look at their youtube channel.

    Thank you.

I so agree with what they said about not confusing animals and it was very enjoyable to listen to them. I didn’t realize they were in the same room until they handshook at the end :)

Great video and very informative. It never occured to me that being “Miss nicey nicey” was being manipulative or controlling, but it makes sense now; I can also now understand why I have had so much trouble getting clear on what I really want.

Thank you so much for this breakthrough.
