The Path to a Happy Heart by Dr. Katie Garnett

5 Steps along the Path to a Happy Heart –

Dr. Bruce Lipton talks about Spontaneous Evolution, Gregg Braden talks about the Deep Truth: Igniting the Memory of Our Origin, Destiny, and Fate. Dr. Joe Dispenza talks about how to Evolve Your Brain. And I want to talk about your soul’s journey and fulfilling your greatest life by changing your happiness habits and thereby changing your own DNA programming. Taking the information from quantum science, and cell biology, and the molecules of emotion and psychology and even anthropology, we find some universal truths about behavior and happiness, and some important mind-sets that facilitate a more peaceful and meaningful life.

Step 1.  Ask Yourself, Who Am I?

This is not the kind of question that gets answered at the spiritual level by our beta-mind. Those answers will be things like, I am a parent, spouse, teacher, business owner, I am an athlete. In order to open your mind to the Truth of who you truly are, it is important to not only talk to Source in prayer or petition, it is also most important to listen to Source through meditation.

When you ask the question Who Am I? and you are asking in the meditative state, during meditation itself, or in the theta brainwave through The One Command, you will receive a clear message about Who you are at the deepest level and what your purpose in this life truly is.

What is interesting about meditation or The One Command process in theta, is that it is the Forum through which Source answers. Meditation is the mind-space we go to in order to be open and receptive to the information that comes to us in response to the beta-mind questions we have posited.

Step 2.  Embrace Gratitude

The purpose of embracing gratitude on the pathway to a happy heart is that what you focus on expands. When you focus on what you are grateful for, you simply feel better about yourself and about your life. Take a moment and think about something that upsets you, or something you feel you lack – how does that feel? Does it make you feel ‘heavy’ or does it make you feel ‘light’? Look for that feeling with each of your thoughts and see how you feel when you are in gratitude.

From the quantum science perspective we know that the reason what we focus on expands is the Observer effect. Where you put your attention, what you expect to see, is what appears in your experience. If you haven’t seen the wonderful series of videos on youtube, with Dr. Quantum – take a moment and go watch them. The videos are fun and easy explanations about how the Observer effect works in the quantum field.  Energy collapses into matter when You observe it – so essentially, what you expect is what you get. I start my days now with the thought, I Expect Miracles Today! What thoughts do you hold as you start your day? Would you like to change them? Change your thinking and change your life – its true. Find your own morning thought to start your day.

Step 3.  Practice Forgiveness

Forgiveness – oddly – is not about the person you are forgiving, it is about giving yourself a gift of the fullness of life. Forgiveness is about expanding vs contracting and it is about healing yourself.

You’ve most likely heard the saying, ‘Unforgiveness is like drinking poison and then waiting for your enemy to die.’ And this is true, the only person hurt by unforgiveness is the person holding the emotional (and biochemical) ‘poison’ in their own body-mind. Forgiveness is freedom and only you can release yourself to be free, and that includes forgiveness of yourself.

Step 4.  Surrender

We often think that surrender means giving in, but in truth, surrender means ‘giving over’. My friend, colleague and business coach, LeeAnn Gibbs, has helped make that point abundantly clear to me in our work. We have been ‘misinformed’ about the true meaning of surrender, rather ‘under-informed’ about the second definition of the word surrender. Surrender is often defined as ‘giving in’ but the most useful and transforming definition of surrender for your life enhancement is ‘surrender by giving oneself over’ to something greater in your spiritual life.

Part of the step of surrender includes, giving up control!  From the quantum physics aspect that means, to give up the false sense of control that you exercise in your limited beta-mind and ‘give over’ to the co-operation and co-creation that you can experience through your own greater-capacity and your inherent connection to Source. It makes life so much easier!

Step 5.  Accept that You are Already There – You have a Happy Heart Now!

Your greatest gift to yourself will be allowing yourself to trust that you have a happy heart as your Divine birthright.

We are all part of the Unified Field – there is not and never can be, any separation. We are all connected to Source, we are all connected to the universe, to the planet, and to every living thing on this planet. What you think, what you do, how you choose to be, affects every other energy field that exists.
