I question the validity of all of the above applying to every individual. Guy Finley's "extraordinary life" is not going to look the same as anyone else's. Some of his advice could be just plain dangerous to some people. "Don't Make The Rescue Call"? Ha! Try telling that to someone who is depressed; who has been avoiding reaching out but who needs to connect in order to preserve their very life. "Take The Hard Way"? How about "take the intuitive way"? It's not always hard. It might not be the easiest way, but why does it have to be hard? "Make No Campsites"? If you are on the path of living an Extraordinary Life then you owe it to others to be a reflection of that amazing light that is radiating from you. Part of our purpose in becoming enlightened (another word for extraordinary) is that we allow others to receive some of our own reflected light so that they may be inspired to allow themselves to shine. I did take a career leap and tried to switch career paths. The interview was a disaster. The outcome was that I did not get the job but I was qualified even tho it was a switch. The interviewer lied to me I found out later. So, I did the thing I feared but it made me even more afraid to step out of my comfort zone and try for something new.
