Reponse to responses – Yes we designers and inventors have engineered things inspired by mimicry for a long time, but now our scrutiny and breadth of biology is far better. There is fear of change and fear that design is more or too expensive for individuals to instill. It is not, We must prove our ideas are less expensive and are attainable by and for the masses, and the masses must insist on them in an organized way. Beyond hign technology, that is in low “garage” technology huge accomplishment is possible.

What a visionary. She inspires us while showing us how very silly we humans are when compared to the other lifeforms on our planet. We think we are so smart while we drink our cocktail of poisons. I am worried about her though…seems like every time someone comes forth with great revolutionary ideas that could change the course of the planet for the better…they ‘mysteriously’ die.

What is it about people that we don’t do this one thing naturally. We don’t think about (or haven’t until now) the survival of our species in any long term way.
