I had forgotten just how ‘connected’ Bill Hicks was when he was alive and performing. He was in the top two of my all-time favorite ‘tell-it-like-it-IS’ comedians, George Carlin being no.#1 and also sorely missed.
Bill’s profain in-your-face was no only enlightening to those tuned to his vibration, but profound that all these years later he still speaks an undeniable universal insight message.
Give em’ hell Bill where ever you are, probably smoking with St. Peter?

I loved it. I connected to it and I am here for the ride of my life. I am sorry to say I did not even know who Bill was when he was alive. But I believe he truly was an angel living amongst us.

I have hardly heard of Bill Hicks. I don’t know who had heard of him here in Britain back in 1990 but it amazes me to think he was saying all that back then and being wildly appreciated for it. Was it because these ideas weren’t so mainstream that his followers were so loyal? Anyway, great to see a quote I’d heard actually being performed by a very interesting comedian. Thanks a lot.

I think it would make a great sermon at any fundamental religious place of worship. But they would probably be so focused on the sinful language that they would miss the spiritual message.

For those who would not listen to Bill Hick’s message because of his choice of words, clearly reflects judgments, and how we separate ourselves from those we deem worthy and not worthy. We all have a message, and Bill Hick’s was awesome. Oneness is oneness. Life is eternal, and one day we will all wake up and have fun!

About ten minutes ago, I told my daughter a joke I had just made up: Life is like a Merry-go-round. It’s all right for a while, and then it makes you sick. I read the email which lead me to see The late great Bill Hicks video, and then….he re-worded my joke!!! Spooky, Huh?
