Living conditions were poor, there were many teenage pregnancies, alchoholism and violence. At the same time, some of the people I met there were some of the most inspiring individuals I met. I recall a discussion our group of volunteers had about life in a Reservation and how difficult it is for children growing up in such conditions. But in response to the question "how can we help these people live better lives?" all I could say was, "maybe we can learn from them." I think the shift you are referring to must be approached similarly. I know, rationally, that I create my own reality and can manifest whatever I want if I am determined enough. But if I and seven billion others live together, creating our own, individual desires without maturing priorities, there will be little change. On the other hand, if we truly focus on changing our minds, fixing our priorities and finding out what is truly important, help will come our way and we will need less and less effort to do the right things in the right way. Look i have been teaching children a lot about computers in schools. I have also writing books about computers. I have just found God in my life and these other ideas seems prefect also.
